With being one game below .500 the Wizards found themselves in a great position tonight to finally get over that hump.
Tonight they took on a Timberwolves team that are currently 13th in the Western conference.
Just on Tuesday they signed Greg Smith to a 10 day contract to help them out by playing Center and Forward. The Timberwolves currently are also short of big men which is why they signed smith.
However, as for the Wizards Allan Anderson got some playing time tonight. He also got some playing time against the Bulls a few games back and he proved to be very affective. Scoring 18 points and getting 2 rebounds.
He was not to be out done tonight though. John Wall had himself another double – double scoring 14 points with 12 assists.
Next the Wizards will travel to Cleveland to take on Lebron James and the Cavaliers on Friday March 4th. The Wizards beat the Cavs in DC this past Sunday so it will be interesting to see how this game turns out.
