Offseason Frenzy Part 2

A new day in the NFL brings a lot of changes, new faces to new teams and some new beginnings. As I have written about before this 2015 offseason has been the craziest one in recent memory. With Chip Kelly’s eagles making a lot of moves and recently signing former Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow. I think Chip Kelly made a good choice in signing him because he fits the offensive scheme so perfectly. Also he will be reunited with his former teammate Mark Sanchez, who along with Tebow played for the New York Jet’s under the Rex Ryan era.

Coach Ryan is now the Head Coach of the Buffalo Bills and he is primed to make a statement and prove his worth. I think he will prove to be very influential, productive and re-ignite the Bills defense. With the addition of LeSean McCoy I think the Bills rushing attack will prove  to be very beneficial in terms of winning more games.

Also with the NFL Draft coming up there is a lot of conversation about whose going to be picked number one overall by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers . Whether it will be Jameis Winston or Marcus Mariota. Both of which are Heisman Trophy Winners. Me personally I don’t know whose going number one overall, because this years draft class is very competitive. However there are rumors going around saying that Winston will go number one.

I think based on his ability to make a lot of throws and being able to stand tall in the pocket while under pressure makes him a good threat. However he has shown the ability to make things happen while outside of the pocket. While his counterpart Marcus Mariota has the ability to make all throws and use his legs in a read option offense makes him a new age dual threat quarterback . Basically both of them can do similar things very well. In other news the NFL schedules for the 2015-2016 season were recently released, and there looks to be a lot of exciting match-ups this season.

One of the biggest games to watch will be the New England Patriots and the Pittsburgh Steelers on the opening thursday night football game of this season. Also there will be some playoff rematches from last season during the regular season. For example Colts vs Broncos, Patriots vs Seahawks, etc. Can’t wait until we all can get back to football, but until then I’m going to continue to watch the NBA Playoffs.
