The Decision Part II

UPPER MARLBORO, MD – The King of Cleveland has left once again to take his talents elsewhere. After going to his eighth straight NBA finals and getting swept by the Golden State Warriors, you could see the writing on the wall as to what was coming next.

There was a lot of speculation as to what team he would sign with during the summer. Some of his potential options were Philadelphia, Houston or Los Angelas.

On July 1st the news came down and had the sports world buzzing and sent social media in a frenzy!

King James signed a 4 year 154 million dollar deal with the Lakers and now #LakeShow seems to be back in full affect. With Magic Johnson being a big moving piece within the organization, Laker fans are awaiting a potential championship run.

Along with the signing of James, the Lakers also signed JaVale McGee and Lance Stephenson. McGee is coming off his second championship run with the Golden State Warriors and Stephenson is coming off a playoff appearance with the Indiana Pacers.

Right now it seems like the Lakers are making productive moves in Free Agency, but the question is can they get back to consistently going deep into the playoffs and competing for an NBA championship.

With James being in the western conference he will have to combat against the Warriors for the conference title, which should bring back something that some NBA fans have been craving for the past few years. Competition.
