The National Alliance of African-American Athletes has named quarterback Quincy Patterson II the 2018 Franklin D. Watkins Award winner! The 6’3 236Ibs quarterback from Eric Solorio Academy adds another accomplishment to his already impressive resume.
The Chicago native walks around with a 4.7 grade point average and has been on the principles honor roll throughout the entirety of his high school career. A perfect example of what it really means to be a student athlete.
“I will be going to Virginia Tech in the fall” said Patterson.
With the skills that he possess on the field and in the classroom, the hokies have gotten themselves a real gem in Patterson.
