The Patriots are on their way to a seventh consecutive AFC Championship game after beating Tennessee Titans 35 to 14 in the AFC Divisional round of the NFL Playoffs. The Titans struck first, which shocked everybody, but that didn’t last very long.
The Patriots went on to score 21 unanswered points, and it was thanks to the Hall of Fame arm of Tom Brady. After so much talk in recent weeks about the relationship between Brady and coach Bill Belichick being on the rocks, it seems the Patriots have silenced the haters for another week.
Next week they will play against the Jacksonville Jaguars, who have surprised many people this season after making the playoffs for the first time since the 1998 season. With the way that defense has been playing, it will be interesting to see how “Tom Terrific” and the Patriots offense will compare against arguably the league’s top defense.
