The Giants have gotten rid of the proverbial cancer in former head coach Ben McAdoo, and have also let go of general manager Jerry Reese. McAdoo, up until his firing has led the Giants to arguably their worst regular season performance in franchise history, and left a disgusting taste in the mouths of Giants fans everywhere.
McAdoo made the decision to bench franchise quarterback and two-time Superbowl champion quarterback Eli Manning, for Geno Smith on November 28th, and the reasoning behind Manning’s benching was ” this is not a statement about anything other than we are 2-9, and we have to do what is best for the organization, moving forward and that means evaluating every position” said Reese.

Well after yesterday’s 24-17 loss to the Oakland Raiders, the New York Giants made the decision early Monday afternoon to relieve McAdoo and Reese of their duties within the organization.
“I’m going to coach this team as long as my key card works” said McAdoo in his post game presser Sunday afternoon.
Now it’s no secret at all that the Giants have played terrible football this season, and that tensions were rising within the locker room. Some notable players like Dominique Rodgers Cromartie and Landon Collins were very frustrated with the way things were going with the team, but now all those problems seem to be over for the meantime.
However, now Giants owner John Mara has a new challenge on his hands. Finding a head coach for the future and a general manager that can spot good football talent.
