The DC sports fans are now rejoicing after John Wall has signed a 4 year $170 million dollar contract extension with the Wizards.
Wall is coming off a career year, and a deep run into the playoffs making the Wizards one of the teams in the Eastern Conference to be on the lookout for this upcoming season.
This past season Wall average 23 points per game, 10 assists per game and 4.2 rebounds per game. He's also had some clutch moments as well.
The one that stands out the most is the game winning three pointer that sent the series with the Celtics to a game 7.
The Wizards front office have shown their faith in Wall and his ability to lead this franchise to the promise land, and with the signing of this extension it adds a little more incentive for Wall to make last season seem like an appetizer to the full course meal he's preparing for the 2017/2018 season.
