With all the things that have been trending as far as the NBA is concerned, the latest hot topic of discussion is about Cavs Guard Kyrie Irving who today requested that the Cavs trade him.
Initially when the news dropped a lot of the Cavalier faithful, and King James himself were a little uneasy.
According to ESPNs Brian Windhorst when Lebron was made aware about Irvings request to be traded he was "devastated and disappointed." Not surprising seeing as how over the course of the last few seasons James and Irving have formed a tight bond on the court. After all with Irving on the court in the NBA Finals last year, he was able to help big brother Lebron in his quest to bring a championship to the city of Cleveland.
However, in the recent NBA Finals when we were all treated to a trilogy match up between the Cavaliers and the Warriors, the Cavs weren't able to get the job done.
The story is still developing and Irving has not put out any statement regarding his recent request. More is soon to come.
