Earlier this morning the news broke that Colts QB Andrew Luck underwent surgery on his throwing shoulder. This injury has plagued Luck since the 2015 season. Luck only played in seven of the games that year.

Some of the other injuries that Luck suffered from was a concussion and a lacerated kidney. Colts Owner Jim Irsay broke the news to Colts fans in a tweet saying:

“Andrew recovering from successful outpatient surgery to fix right shoulder injury that had lingered since 2015. Will be ready for season!”

Luck has taken a lot of hits ever since he got into the league, and that can be attributed to the problems on the offensive line. The Colts are looking to fix those problems this offseason, which will hopefully shorten the amount of times Lucks name appears on the injury report.

If the Colts want to get into the conversation of being one of the best teams in the league, it all starts with their leader and QB.
