The difference a few players can make on any team is very crucial. In the Wizards case its John Wall, Bradley Beal, Marcin Gortat and the new comer Markieff Morris.
This game started out a little slow for the Wizards, mainly because they didn’t come out with a lot of agressiveness and energy.
However, after halftime the Wizards really turned it around with excellent Guard play by John Wall who dropped another double – double tonight with 24 points and 10 assists. Gortat also had his 35th double – double of the season with 15 points and 11 rebounds.
The Wizards outscored the Knicks 33-13 in the 3rd quarter.
With the win tonight the Wizards have won four straight and have won the season series between them and the Knicks. Coming up they take a trip down to Atlanta to take on the Hawks. Then the Hawks will come to DC on the 23rd. This will be a very interesting back to back games, and it will give the Wizards a chance to possibly knock off one of the Eastern Conferences best teams.
