Wall Triple Doubles His Team To Victory

Tonight as the Wizards came back home the expectations were high as they take on the Pelicans who are led by Anthony Davis who just came off a stellar performance.

Davis dropped 59 and 20 against the Pistons.

Tonight a lot of people were expecting and encore performance from him tonight. However, that was not the case. The Wizards defense was so dominant tonight they held Davis to only 9 points.

Not too shabby for the red, white and blue.

After the loss to Miami Saturday night this was a well needed confidence boost.

Overall right now the Wizards are 26-29. Tomorrow they go back on the road to take on Derrick Rose and the Bulls who came off of a win against the Lakers on Sunday night.

The Wizards will be looking to continue in the final home stretch with a win tomorrow night to gain a spot in the playoffs.

Defensively tonight the Wizards really shined and it all started with the “Hammer” Marcit Gortat. He had himself a great game tonight dropping 21 points with 11 rebounds.

However, John Wall was not to be out done. He dropped his 5th triple double of his career. 16 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists.
