As the time got near for the Wizards to take the court again the anticipation was riding high.
Tonight they went up against the visiting Detroit Pistons who are also fighting for a spot in the playoffs to represent the east.
Making his debut for the red, white and blue tonight was Markieff Morris who the Wizards picked up in a trade with the Suns. Tonight in his debut he had 6 points and 2 rebounds in the Wizards 98-86 win.
John Wall dropped 22 points with 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Bradley Beal dropped 17 points and Marcin Gortat dropped 15 points and 9 rebounds. This is the Wizards second consecutive win this week and go on the road tomorrow to take on Miami. All season long the Wizards have been better away than at home. So this should be a very interesting game without the presence of Christ Bosh.
Miami is currently 29-24 and the Wizards are 25-28. Both are still in the race for a playoff spot in the east, but who will take it?
