The wait was finally over. As the Wizards made it back home after the All-star weekend break. John Wall had himself a great performance during the All-star break and carried that momentum into tonight’s game against the Utah Jazz.
In terms of the team effort tonight it was pretty good.
The Wizards were able to get 27points off turnovers, and had 35 points off the bench. Also, Wall was able to put up his 31st double-double of the season(17 points 11 assists). Even his running mate starting Center Marcin Gortat who celebrated his 32nd birthday yesterday had himself a double-double.
He had 22 points and 10 rebounds.
This was the first of three back to back games for the red, white and blue as they take on the visiting Detroit Pistons tomorrow night. As of right now they are in the race for the playoffs, but the only question is can they stay in it?
All that will be determined as the home stretch of the season takes off.
