The Wizards Get Bucked!

The wizards came off of a good win against the Knicks two nights ago in the garden, and started off good tonight versus the Bucks.

However, they had an abundance of problems on the floor tonight. Early on during the majority of the 1st quarter the wizards were spreading the ball around and finding their rhythm with their shot attempts.

That did not last very long though. During the 2nd Quarter Marcin Gortat left the game after just his second foul and the whole complexity of the game seemed to change. 12 missed shots to go along with poor shooting and rebounding sent Washington on a down hill spiral.

The big Playmakers John Wall and Bradley Beal were not really jelling tonight, and it has been a point of emphasis that when both of them are playing well together success will follow. However, tonight that was not the case. Wall was 5-19 shooting and finished his night with 15 points, 10 assists and 4 rebounds.

As a team tonight the Wizards were 34/88 from the field, and only recorded 38 rebounds compared to the Bucks who had 58.

Not really something to brag about heading into the all-star break, but that’s where the Wizards are right now.

They have the potential and the talent to have more success after the all-star break. It just falls on the shoulders of the players to want to go out on the floor and play hard for a full 48 minutes.
