Raptors beat Wizards at Home

Coming off of a loss at home one would think that the Wizards would come out fired up and ready to win. However, the stats say different on this night against the visiting Toronto Raptors. Who have an overall record of 23-15.

As a team tonight the Wizards were 33/84 shooting from the field, 8/25 from 3 point range and had 19 turnovers. Not a very good recipe for success. As I watched the game it seemed to me that the Wizards did not play as a team for a big portion of the game. There was a lack of continuity, and every one just seemed to be trying to do too much instead of just doing their job. Not only that, but the injury bug continues to bite this team with Bradley Beal still being on the bench.

Meanwhile, John Wall came out and did the best that he could with 21 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assists. Otto Porter was second in points tonight with 16 with 5 rebounds and 3 assists. Finally , Gortat had 12 points on the night with 10 rebounds and 3 assists. The Wizards travel to Orlando tonight to take on the Magic Saturday night. Maybe being in uncharted territory will cause them to play with a little more attitude. This team is better than what they are playing like right now.
