The wells report finally finished the long awaited investigation of the deflated balls that the New England Patriots used in the AFC Championship game. The patriots won very convincingly by a score of 45-7 over the Indianapolis Colts. From the start of the game to the finish the Patriots dominated the Colts. Never before have I seen so many dropped passes in my life it was absolutely ridiculous, but that is a conversation for another day.
Lets get back to the conclusion of the Wells Report investigation. It was found that the New England Patriots franchise quarterback did indeed tell some of the ball boys for the team to take some of the pressure out of the balls. Now me personally I don’t think that deflating the balls was necessary because the way the Patriots were playing they would have beaten the Colts anyway.
So after the investigation the Patriots organization and Tom Brady were punished. Brady was suspended for the first four games of the upcoming 2016 NFL season, and the Patriots were fined $1 Million Dollars as well as getting stripped of a first round pick in the 2016 Draft and a fourth round pick in the 2017 Draft. Despite all this Tom Brady’s agent has made it known that there will be an appeal.
Some people however think that Tom Brady has been innocent while others say that he has been guilty since day one. Since there is still a lot of questions to be answered Brady and company will be taking this to court.
