NFL Combine Day 2

Around this time of year there is alot of conversation going on in the football world. Whether it be about NFL Free Angency, the NFL Combine or the NFL Draft. This year’s combine has a lot of talent and a lot of depth. A couple of Heisman Trophy Winners & Runner-Ups were featured in this year’s combine. ( Hinting at Jameis Winston out of FSU & Marcus Mariota out of Oregon).
During a press conference on friday Jameis Winston said ” I plan on winning the SuperBowl Next Year”. Now some people think that might have been a little arrogant on his part, but according to Winston thats just him being confident.
Moving on to the Wide Recievers. This year’s class of recievers have a lot to prove after the monster season the previous reciever draft class had. The top recievers to me were Kevin White out of WVU, DeVante Parker out of Louisville, and Amari Cooper out of Alabama. Out of these three talented recievers Kevin White was the one with the fastest 40 yard dash. Clocking in unofficially at 4.35. Now its hard to tell where each of them will be drafted because the depth of the class and their productivity. However I predict they will all be drafted in the first round.
Now as we move on to the Running Back’s I want to point out that this class is abundant with talent, and that Chris Johnson’s 40 yard dash record of 4.24 hasn’t been broken yet. Just a little fun fact! The number one Running Back that everyone wanted to see was Wisconsin Running Back Melvin Gordon. Who ran an unofficial time of 4.52.
After this past season he was named the Big 10 Running Back of the year, Big 10 Offensive Player of the year and the 2015 Outback Bowl MVP. So it’s safe to say that he is very capable of being productive in the NFL.
He reminds me a lot of two current NFL Players. Jamaal Charles and Marshawn Lynch. He matches charles in the way he runs, but he matches Lynch in terms of measurents. So he should be exciting to watch.

I can’t wait to see what the next two days of the Combine will be like. Tomorrow the Defensive Lineman and LineBackers will take the field to showcase their talents. All the NFL scouts and coaches will be watching so this should be good. Stay locked into WBGR Sports Network!! It’s Gameday Let’s Go!!!!
