Justice Served on Anthony Bosch

For a long while now PED use has been an ongoing epidemic in the sports world. A lot of athletes in the MLB & NFL have been suspended for violating the substance abuse policies of both of these major sports businesses.

On the morning of February 17th justice was served in my opinion on one of the main distributors of performance enhancing drugs. Anthony Bosch the former owner of the South Florida clinic that supplied performance enhancing drugs to a lot of athletes. He was mostly known for selling PED’s to New York Yankees Superstar Alex Rodriguez. Rodriguez was suspended by the Yankees this past season for PED use. However he realized the error of his ways and will soon be delivering a public apology at Yankee Stadium.

Anthony Bosch received a sentence of 4 years in prison plus 3 years of supervised release. In my opinion I think that athletes who use performance enhancing drugs take away the integrity of the respective sport they play. I can understand them wanting to improve your game and the way you play, but do so in the right way. Plus using PED’s can have long-term effects on an athlete during their life after their playing career’s are over. Just my two cents.
