Wow what a game and what a story book ending. A Sophmore quarterback going up against this years Heisman winner. First Heisman winner of Hawaiian decent i might add. A head coach taking another college football team to another national title game. Urban Meyer tonight has made history and so has Cardale Jones his Sophmore quarterback.
On the first drive of the game the ducks drove the ball down the field and put up a quick seven points. Now some folks might have started to panic but the buckeyes remained calm and drove down the field with tonight’s offensive player of the game Ezekiel Elliot and put up seven points to tie the game up.
From that moment on Ohio State would turn the ball over four times, but still some how some way they managed to outscore the ducks. It still boggles my mind at how Oregon managed to get four turnovers from them and still barely put up any points on the board. That just goes to show how tough that Ohio State defense was tonight. Oregon failed to convert on third down for most of the game and their offense just looked slow for the first time in a long time. My hat is off to the Oregon Ducks and Marcus Mariota. I believe he will be a sight to see in the NFL come draft time.
Urban Meyer will go down in history as one of the greatest head coaches of all time. Cardale Jones really shocked a lot of people and raised some eyebrows. He is still undefeated and I think that he will carry this momentum into next season to try and make another national championship game run. The final score tonight was 42-20.
