This was pretty much a one sided game. The Seattle Seahawks have been on a dominant role as of late and are continuing to prove that they are indeed the best. The Carolina Panthers defeated the Arizona Cardinals to make to the divisional round of the playoffs for the first time in some years.
In the early stages of the game it was pretty even, but the Seahawks managed to strike first. The Panthers would score as well, but that really didn’t last very long as the Legion of Boom did what they are most famous for and that’s shutting down an offense. Richard Sherman picked off Cam Newton early in the game to set the tone. Also, Kam Chancellor picked off Cam Newton in the fourth quarter and returned it for 90 yards for a touchdown.
Overall it was a dominant performance by the Seattle Seahawks and now they move on to play against whoever wins the game between the Greenbay Packers and the Dallas Cowboys. Whoever wins that game will play against the Seahawks for the NFC Championship game.
